This year, the Village of Princeville is celebrating its 175th Anniversary.  The Village was founded in 1837 by William Stevens, naming it after Daniel Prince, the first inhabitant in the area.  As part of the celebration, the Historical Association of Princeville is compiling a cookbook to be sold not only as a commemorative piece, but also as a sample of the rich heritage that makes Princeville what it is.
“A Taste of Princeville – Celebrating 175 Years of Great Taste” recipe submissions will be accepted from current Princeville residents, as well as former residents.   The goal is to have at least 500 recipes of family favorites.
Recipe submission forms are available at Princeville Heritage Museum and Princeville Village Hall.  All recipe submissions are due by
April 1, 2012.
If you have any questions, please contact the Princeville Heritage Museum (309)385-1916 and leave a message if necessary.
We would appreciate your response by April 1, 2012. - Princeville 175th Anniversary Cookbook Committee
